    Only artists who cover your area and are genuinely free that day. Each offer names the artist, their price and a start time.

    Compare the offers side by side and accept the one you want. Pay securely through Stripe; nothing is charged before you accept.

Requesting an artist — common questions

Does Miroir cover my area?
You can post a request from any suburb or postcode in Australia. Our roster is deepest in South East Queensland, where we started, and we are onboarding artists in every capital. If nobody covers your area yet we will tell you within 48 hours rather than leave you waiting.
How much does it cost to post a request?
Nothing. Posting is free and nothing is charged until you accept an offer. Artists tell you their price up front, and you pay the price you see — Miroir takes its commission from the artist, so there are no booking fees added on top.
How many offers will I get, and how fast?
It depends on how many artists cover your area and are free on your date. Most requests get their first offer within a day. Each offer names the artist, their price and a start time, so you are comparing real availability rather than enquiries.
Who chooses — me or the artist?
You do, always. Miroir never assigns you an artist and never awards the job to whoever replies first. You see every offer side by side and pick the one you want; the rest simply lapse.
What do the artists need to know?
Your suburb, your date and roughly what you need — makeup, hair, or both, and how many people. The more specific you are about the occasion and the timings, the more accurate the offers come back.
Can I post for a wedding?
Yes, and it is the most common reason people do. Say how many in the bridal party and what time you need to be ready, and artists will quote for the whole morning including a trial where they offer one.
